This issue is related to one of the issues I discussed in one of my articles recently published on my LinkedIn profile. It can be accessed through this link : https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/can-facebook-meta-inc-sued-held-liable-defamation-case-faruq-adio-p9cae?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_android&utm_campaign=share_via. Regarding this, it's indisputable that AI does not have a legal personality and cannot be perceived as a human being it's a tool created by a particular human being. AI cannot be held personally liable to its act. It's a particular individual that put some things in place to make the AI. Developing an AI MODEL requires some certain processes which seem cumbersome. After all this cumbersome processes, without uploading some data to the AI model, such AI model won't be able to give any result from the prompts given to it. The data uploaded by a developer to the AI MODEL to enable it to give results is gotten from different sources which the AI has no knowledge of because it didn't create itself. In a nutshell, suffice it to say that where an AI causes harm, infringes the copyright of another individual, gives misleading information, the AI developer or company should be held liable and accountable for such harm done. This is because such an individual has the knowledge how the data used by the AI MODEL is generated. I humbly submit Anifowose Faruq Adio. Legal Practitioner 09060973120
