By accessing or using this platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platform.

Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the User Content you submit or post. You agree not to submit content that is:

• Illegal, defamatory, obscene, abusive, or otherwise offensive.
• Infringing or violating the intellectual property, privacy, confidentiality, or other rights of any person or entity.
• Containing viruses, malware, or other harmful code.
• False, misleading, deceptive, or likely to misinform users.

We reserve the right, but not the obligation, to review, moderate, remove, restrict, or disable access to any User Content at our discretion.

5. Professional Services

No Attorney-Client Relationship

Engaging Legal Practitioners

If you choose to engage with legal practitioners through our platform, you do so at your own risk. We do not endorse, recommend, or guarantee the qualifications, expertise, conduct, or services of any legal practitioners on our platform. Any agreements, communications, or transactions between you and legal practitioners are solely between you and those parties.

6. Quiz Services and AI-Generated Content

Quiz Features

Our platform may allow users to create, generate, save, publish, access, and take quizzes, including quizzes generated with the assistance of artificial intelligence tools. These quiz features may include private drafts, public quizzes, question previews, explanations, and related educational content.

AI-Generated Quiz Content

Some quizzes or quiz questions on the platform may be generated or assisted by artificial intelligence based on user-provided prompts, uploaded documents, or other source materials. You acknowledge and agree that AI-generated content may be incomplete, inaccurate, misleading, outdated, or unsuitable for your intended purpose. You should independently verify any legal, academic, or factual content before relying on it.

We do not guarantee that any AI-generated quiz, answer option, explanation, or related content is correct, complete, reliable, or fit for any particular purpose.

User-Provided Source Materials

If you upload documents or other materials for quiz generation, you represent and warrant that:

• you own the materials or have all necessary rights, permissions, licenses, and authority to upload and use them for quiz generation;
• the upload, processing, storage, and use of those materials by us will not infringe any copyright, confidentiality obligation, privacy right, contractual restriction, or other right of any third party; and
• the materials do not contain unlawful, malicious, or prohibited content.

You must not upload confidential, privileged, private, restricted, or sensitive materials unless you are fully authorized to do so and accept all risks associated with such upload.

Private Drafts and Public Quizzes

Quiz drafts may be saved privately to your account and remain inaccessible to the public unless and until you choose to publish them. If you publish a quiz, you understand and agree that it may become visible to other users of the platform and may be accessed, viewed, and taken by the public or by other users, depending on platform functionality.

Responsibility for Published Quizzes

You are solely responsible for any quiz that you publish or otherwise make available on the platform, including its title, description, source material, questions, answer options, explanations, and overall legality, accuracy, and appropriateness. You must not publish any quiz that:

• infringes the intellectual property or other rights of any person;
• contains false, misleading, defamatory, unlawful, or harmful content;
• includes confidential, privileged, or private information without authorization; or
• is not sufficiently related to law, where the quiz feature is designated for legal or law-related educational content.

Moderation and Removal

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion and without prior notice, to review, refuse, unpublish, suspend, restrict, or remove any draft, quiz, question, uploaded material, or related content where we believe it may violate these Terms of Use, applicable law, third-party rights, or our platform policies, or where we otherwise consider such action necessary to protect the platform or its users.

No Certification or Endorsement

The availability of a quiz on our platform does not mean that Nigerian Law Forum has reviewed, approved, certified, endorsed, or verified the quiz or its contents. Public availability does not imply legal accuracy, educational quality, or suitability for examination, study, or professional reliance.

7. Intellectual Property

Ownership

All content on the platform, including text, graphics, logos, images, software, design elements, and platform functionality, is the property of Nigerian Law Forum or its licensors/content suppliers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except as expressly permitted in writing, you may not use, reproduce, distribute, modify, republish, transmit, display, or exploit any platform content.

Trademarks

All trademarks, service marks, trade names, and logos used on the platform are the property of Nigerian Law Forum or their respective owners. You may not use any such marks without the prior written consent of the relevant owner.

8. Disclaimers

No Warranties

Our platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including any warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, reliability, availability, or security.

We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from viruses or other harmful components.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nigerian Law Forum, its affiliates, officers, agents, employees, licensors, and service providers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, business opportunities, goodwill, data, or use, whether incurred directly or indirectly, resulting from:

• your use of or inability to use the platform;
• any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein;
• any bugs, viruses, trojan horses, or other harmful code that may be transmitted to or through our platform by any third party;
• any errors or omissions in any content; or
• any loss or damage incurred as a result of the use of any content posted, uploaded, transmitted, generated, or otherwise made available through the platform, including quiz content and AI-generated materials.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Nigerian Law Forum, its affiliates, officers, agents, employees, licensors, and service providers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to:

• your use of the platform;
• your User Content, uploaded materials, quizzes, or published content;
• your violation of these Terms of Use; or
• your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.

10. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated Terms of Use on our platform. Your continued use of the platform after any such changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms of Use.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
